At LGBT Foundation, Finance is at the heart of everything we do. Every invoice processed, payment made and reconciliation completed helps us deliver life-changing services for LGBTQ+ communities across the UK.
We’re looking for a Finance Officer to join our friendly and supportive Finance Team. Whether you already have some finance, bookkeeping or accounts administration experience, or you’re looking for your first professional finance role, we’ll provide the training, support and development you need to succeed.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of finance activities while building your career within one of the UK’s leading LGBTQ+ charities.
As Finance Officer you will help keep our finance function running smoothly by:
✅ Processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently
✅ Supporting payroll and finance administration activities
✅ Completing reconciliations and maintaining accurate records
✅ Responding to finance queries from colleagues and suppliers
✅ Supporting financial controls and compliance processes
✅ Helping ensure high-quality financial information is available across the organisation
You’ll work with colleagues across LGBT Foundation, giving you a broad understanding of how a modern charity operates and how finance contributes to organisational success.
We are taking positive action to encourage applications from people of colour (PoC) and other racially minoritised communities, trans*, non-binary, and/or older people (aged 50+), to improve the representation of colleagues from these communities in our staff team.
*Trans is an umbrella & inclusive term used to describe people whose gender identity differs from that which they were assigned at birth; including non-binary people, cross-dressers, and those who partially or incompletely identify with their sex assigned at birth.
