We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team on a full time basis supporting the Chief Financial Offer and Executive Management Team by overseeing day-to-day financial operations and delivering high quality financial reporting and analysis . This role is ideal for someone who can combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness to drive financial performance and ensure compliance.

You will be responsible for preparing, developing and interpreting financial data to inform strategic decisions and operational planning. Your work will directly contribute to the Trust’s financial sustainability, growth and ability to deliver impactful leisure and wellbeing services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders
  • Provide financial insights to support business strategy and growth

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a financial management role
  • Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, AAT or CIMA) or relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent system skills including Excel and Business Intelligent Software
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership, team management and communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar industry or fast-paced environment
  • Experience of working with Sage 200 and Sage payroll
