Finance Business Partner (1771)

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to help colleagues across Estates, Marketing and IT feel confident about their finances and better equipped to make informed decisions. By bringing together budgets, forecasts and clear analysis, you will provide the insight and support needed to plan ahead, identify risks early and make the best use of resources, while helping finance feel accessible, practical and genuinely useful.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, key areas of responsibility include (please see the Role Profile for the comprehensive list):
- Delivering long-term financial plans, budgets and forecasts
- Producing high-quality management accounts, forecasts and insightful variance analysis
- Partnering with budget holders to strengthen financial understanding and support decision-making
- Identifying risks, opportunities and cost-saving actions, and supporting effective responses
- Advising on business cases and the financial impact of key decisions
- Communicating clear, accessible financial insight to non-finance stakeholders
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:
- Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or part-qualified with significant relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key trends
- Experience producing high-quality management accounts and financial reporting
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to a range of audiences
- Confidence to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
