PRIFF UK is seeking a Festival Photographer to capture the atmosphere, energy, and key moments of this year’s festival.

The photographer will be responsible for documenting the festival experience, including screenings, industry events, workshops, networking moments, guest appearances, filmmaker interactions, and behind-the-scenes activity. The role will require someone who can work confidently in a live event environment, capture both candid and planned moments, and produce a strong visual record of the festival.

The ideal candidate will have experience photographing festivals, events, arts organisations, or similar environments, with the ability to anticipate key moments while working discreetly around audiences and guests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Photographing festival events, screenings, talks, workshops, and networking activities
  • Capturing promotional, editorial, and social media-ready imagery
  • Working with the festival team to identify priority moments and guests
  • Delivering a curated selection of edited images following the festival
  • Managing your own equipment and workflow on-site

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in event, festival, arts, or entertainment photography
  • Own professional camera equipment and kit
  • Ability to work independently in a busy live environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to capture the personality of an event

Rate and Practical Details:

  • £100 per day
  • Lunch per diem provided
  • Travel expenses reimbursed or covered upfront where required
  • Own kit required
  • Expected commitment: approximately 2–3 days of work (dates to be confirmed)
