BFI are seeking a Festival Marketing Advisor (Advertising and Growth)
Fixed Term Contract: 6 June to 30 October 2026
Location: London, BFI Stephen Street/BFI Southbank/Hybrid working
BFI are looking for a Festivals Marketing Advisor to play a key role in the successful delivery of the 2026 BFI London Film Festival (LFF) marketing campaign and activities, in close collaboration with colleagues in marketing and other departments.
What you’ll do
- Lead on the delivery of the LFF media plan across digital, OOH, print and advertorial – including agency management, asset delivery and performance reporting – to promote a wide range of messages to the full audience matrix
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships at a senior level, negotiating effectively to ensure relationships remain fruitful and friendly. Particularly key will be building close and positive working relationships with the Festivals, Creative Services and PR teams as well as LFF media and marketing partners
- Chair the sales tactics group, analysing audience behaviour and sales conversions across LFF owned channels – proactively sharing insights, trends and ideas for maximising performance and occupancy
- Lead on the marketing campaign delivery and branding requirements for the Festival’s immersive and games programme strand LFF Expanded, including representing marketing in relevant working groups, acting as the key marketing contact for external venues and spearheading bespoke marketing activities and requirements
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience and expertise to lead on digital-first, results-driven and creative marketing campaigns and activities in the film, TV, immersive, gaming, culture, arts or media sector
- A proven track record of incorporating diversity and inclusion objectives within marketing campaigns
- Extensive experience in delivering cross-channel advertising campaigns, including optimisation of paid social media, audience targeting, agency liaison, copywriting and creative asset production
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Cloud, Dropbox, CRM software and project management systems such as Monday or Asana
