We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our team. The role is permanent and full time, working 36hrs per week. The post is based on site at Wrest Park, MK45 4HR

This is a great opportunity for you to deliver high-quality, customer-focused conservation maintenance and facilities management service across Wrest Park, covering building fabric, Mechanical & Electrical systems, and soft services such as housekeeping and security. You will ensure the site is maintained in line with internal and statutory standards, supporting its long-term conservation while keeping it safe, secure, and accessible.

As Facilities Manager, you will ensure Wrest Park and six near by sites are maintained, compliant and safely accessible to welcome visitors.

Applying your professional expertise, you will develop and deliver maintenance, improvement, and enhancement projects across the estate, ensuring all works meet technical policy, industry best practice, and specialist guidance.

To be considered as a Facilities Manager, you'll need to be / have:

- Educated to HNC/HND level (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Building/Construction disciplines, or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.

- Working towards or holding a relevant professional membership (e.g. IWFM, CIOB or similar).

- Sound working knowledge of current legislation and statutory regulations relating to building services and health and safety, including fire safety, gas systems, pressure systems, legionella control and security systems.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.

- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources and the work of others effectively.

- Experience of planning and delivering projects, with strong organisational and coordination skills.

- Commercially aware, with a strong focus on customer service and value for money.
