Location: New Forest, Hampshire (with travel across Trust sites)
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the role
The Facilities & Asset Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Minstead Trust’s property portfolio, maintenance services, asset management and facilities functions. This is a broad and influential role that combines technical expertise with collaborative leadership.
You will ensure our estate is well maintained, compliant and financially sustainable while supporting the people we support, our colleagues and our communities.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead facilities, estates and asset management across multiple sites
- Manage maintenance services, contractors and property compliance
- Act as the Trust’s lead for Health & Safety and Fire Safety
- Oversee statutory inspections, risk assessments and compliance programmes
- Manage estate projects and capital improvement works
- Develop long-term asset and lifecycle plans
- Lead sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements
- Manage facilities budgets, procurement and supplier performance
- Oversee fleet management and business continuity planning.

We’re looking for an experienced Facilities & Asset Manager to lead the management of our estate, facilities, health and safety systems and maintenance services, ensuring our environments remain safe, compliant, sustainable and fit for the future
About you:
Essential Experience:
- Significant experience in facilities, estates or property management
- Experience leading maintenance teams and managing contractors
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and statutory compliance
- Experience managing maintenance programmes and property-related projects
- Budget management experience
- Experience in procurement, contract management and supplier performance management
- Knowledge of fire safety, asbestos management, legionella and wider property compliance requirements
- Experience managing multiple priorities across a varied property portfolio.
Desirable Qualifications:
- IWFM Level 4 (or higher) in Facilities Management or equivalent
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Fire Safety qualification
- Membership of IWFM or another relevant professional body
- Qualification in property, estates or project management.
