Queens’ College is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our Alumni and Development team (A&D). This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week.

The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional executive and administrative support to the Development Director (DD) and the Deputy Development Director (DDD), enabling them to operate effectively and maximise their time engaging with key prospects, donors and other stakeholders.

Through proactive diary management, coordination and administrative support, the role will contribute to the successful delivery of fundraising and stewardship activities, helping to increase philanthropic support for the College for the benefit of current and future students.

The Executive Assistant may also be involved in a range of other fundraising, alumni support and stewardship activities in order to achieve the aims of the Department and College. The A&D Team is made up of ten staff.

The role will provide executive support to both the DD and DDD, however, tasks for the DD will be prioritised. The role will be formally line managed by the DDD.

• Strong work ethic and productivity levels
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary range: £33,651.53 – £37,789.18 per annum (FTE), depending on relevant skills and experience. The actual salary will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
• Type of contract: Permanent. 25 to 36.5 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday. There will be a requirement to work additional hours for attendance at events, evenings and weekends (which may include travel within the UK).
• Defined Benefit Pension Scheme: The Cambridge Colleges Federated Pensions Scheme (CCFPS) CCFPS | Pensions
• Holiday entitlement: 26 days’ annual leave plus public holidays (34 days in total) – FTE; entitlement will be calculated on a pro rata basis in line with contracted hours.
