Events and Community Fundraising Assistant
About The Role
St Michael’s Hospice is seeking a proactive, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our Fundraising Team and support the delivery and growth of our community fundraising and events programme.
Community fundraising and events are a vital and growing part of the charity’s fundraising income. As a key member of the Fundraising Team, this role is central to supporting our fundraisers to deliver across a range of income streams, including community fundraising, challenge events and hospice-led events. You will assist with event administration and logistics, supporter communications, check-backs and thank-yous, ensuring both internal and external stakeholders receive excellent support.
As a visible and proactive ambassador for St Michael’s Hospice, you will be excited about engaging with supporters, volunteers and local communities. You will feel comfortable communicating with people from all backgrounds, providing excellent supporter care, and working collaboratively to help maximise fundraising opportunities. You will play an important role in ensuring supporters feel valued, informed and motivated throughout their fundraising journey.
This role works within the Fundraising Team at St Michael’s, an innovative, collaborative and energetic group that works hard and inspires each other to achieve. Join our team to help create outstanding fundraising experiences, build meaningful relationships across Herefordshire, and contribute to projects that make a real difference to patients and families supported by St Michael’s Hospice.
