About the Role
As our Epilepsy Specialist Nurse, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering outstanding, individualised epilepsy care. Working closely with colleagues across care and education, you’ll provide expert clinical guidance, practical support, and high-quality training to ensure we continue to meet the complex needs of those we support.
You’ll collaborate with our dedicated Health Agency team, including learning disability nurses, paediatric nurses and therapists. You will lead on the planning, implementation and evaluation of personalised epilepsy care plans, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice are consistently delivered.
We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a range of shift patterns:
- 9am – 5pm
- 7am – 2:30pm
- 1:45pm – 9pm
Some flexibility may occasionally be required to meet service needs.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and heart to their work.
You will:
- Be a fully qualified Nurse registered with the NMC
- Have evidence of ongoing professional development in Epilepsy care
- Be committed to delivering person-centred, individualised care
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with children, young people and their families
- Feel confident supporting, motivating and developing colleagues across a multi-professional team
