We are looking for two Engineers to be the backbone of our centres, both will be part of our central facilities team, but working locations are across Wales in our Torfaen and Merthyr partnerships.

Are you a highly capable, dual-trade engineer ready to take full ownership of facilities operations and drive excellence or you are skilled in one trade, but would be willing to upskill ?

What You Will Do - 

This dynamic role focuses on maintaining efficiency, leading technical resolution, and supporting team growth:

  • Core Maintenance & Operations

    • Take full ownership of assets and equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency.

    • Execute crucial remedial/reactive repairs and presentation tasks to maintain a high-quality customer experience.

    • Develop and follow proactive maintenance routines to mitigate risks and prevent downtime.

    • Participate in the on-call rota and adapt to changing regional needs.

  • Technical Leadership & Projects

    • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on M&E systems, tackling complex building fabric issues.

    • Manage and deliver a spectrum of projects, from minor upgrades to high-net-worth, complex multi-skilled installations.

    • Provide essential specialist support, including electrical design, installation, and sign-off on works.

    • Raise the collective skill level of the team by delivering specialist M&E training to operational staff.

  • Safety & Compliance

    • Work strictly within established organisational and Health & Safety frameworks, especially in customer-sensitive environments.

If you can offer - 

  • Qualifications

    • City & Guilds Level 3 in a relevant subject or a completed relevant apprenticeship.

  • Technical Expertise
    • Electrical:Essential 3-phase electrical experience; must be able to install and sign off on works.
    • Mechanical:Strong knowledge in HVAC, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Plumbing.
    • Advanced Tools:Experience with, or willingness to learn, Thermography and Vibration Analysis techniques.
  • Personal Attributes

    • Demonstrate ownership for personal performance and development.

    • Be flexible and willing to participate in the on-call rota.

    • Ability to plan tasks effectively and deliver great standards under pressure.
