At Shaftesbury North East, we're looking for a dedicated and motivated Enabling Support Worker to join our Complex Care Service. We are looking for someone with a sense of fun, to help make a real difference to the lives of the people we support every day. Knowledge of the local area would be advantageous.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experiencesupporting people with complex needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern within a supported living environment.
  • NVQ/QCF level 2 or a desire to work towards the qualification while working
  • A person-centred approach and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding support.

About the Role

As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There may be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.
