Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated ETE Officer to co-lead our King's Trust Team Programme, supporting young people aged 16–25 to build confidence, develop new skills and take positive steps into education, employment or training. Through mentoring, engaging group activities and tailored support, you'll help create an inclusive environment where young people can overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

Job Description

  • Co-lead our King’s Trust Team Programme, supporting young people aged 16–25 to build confidence, develop new skills and move towards employment, education or training.

  • Deliver engaging personal development, employability and team-building sessions that inspire and motivate participants.

  • Provide one-to-one mentoring and tailored support, helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where participants can thrive and reach their full potential.

  • Support the delivery of key programme elements, including residentials, community projects, fundraising activities and work placements.

  • Build strong relationships with employers, community partners and colleagues to create meaningful opportunities and positive outcomes for young people.

Person Specification

  • Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes in education, employment or training.

  • Experienced in delivering youth work, training or group-based programmes for young people aged 16–25.

  • Skilled in providing one-to-one mentoring, coaching or tailored support to help individuals achieve their goals.

  • Confident building positive relationships, managing group dynamics and creating an inclusive learning environment.

  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.

  • Committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, with the flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends and residentials.
