Working as part of the Premier League Foundation Programmes Team, the Education Resources Executive predominantly deliver on the digital elements of the Premier League Primary Stars programme, including resource and content development as well as support the creation of education content for our secondary-aged participants through Premier League Inspires and Premier League Kicks.
The role will be responsible for all aspects of the
www.plprimarystars.com platform including the continual review of education materials, development of new content and resources, working with a range of agencies to effectively market the programme to the education sector and deliver inspirational nationwide competition and events.You will work with a range of subject specialists to create fun and curriculum linked resources using the inspiration of football and sport that engages pupils across a range of key stages, ensuring these meet the requirements and standards expected from schoolteachers and our football club charities. You will liaise with education, digital and marketing agencies to ensure our digital offer is high quality and has growing reach and impact across England and Wales.

The Premier League Foundation was established in 2010 to distribute funding provided by the Premier League and its partners to professional football club charities across England and Wales, supporting them in their delivery in thousands of community venues and schools across the country. A total of 106 club charities are supported across the Premier League, English Football League, and National League.
More than 2.5 million individuals have benefitted from the charity, which aims to foster positive sporting, health, personal and education opportunities for children, young people, and the wider community.

You will attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.
The Role
- Lead the development, management and continuous improvement of the Premier League Primary Stars digital platform, ensuring high-quality content, user experience, alignment with brand and digital standards so it is continued to be deemed good value for money.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of primary school aged curriculum-linked education resources across subject areas, working with specialist partners to ensure content is engaging, accessible and impactful.
- Facilitate the development of accessible and engaging education resources across other Premier League Foundation programmes, such as those for secondary school aged participants.
- Support football club charities to use the digital platform by providing training, promotional materials and toolkits.
- Manage relationships with key partners, agencies and Premier League teams to support content development, campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive user engagement and growth through marketing initiatives, teacher recruitment and retention strategies, and integration of Premier League campaigns.
- Develop and report on the effectiveness of the digital offer, using data and insights to inform improvements and demonstrate impact.
- Support programme delivery and operations, including events, competitions, grant management processes and case study development.
- Ensure all activity reflects safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, and accessibility standards.
- Contribute to wider organisational priorities and cross-team initiatives
Role Requirement
- Proven ability to lead or manage a digital education platform or offer, ideally within the charity, education or sports sector.
- Experience of designing or commissioning engaging, curriculum-linked educational resources for primary and/or secondary audiences.
- Strong understanding of impact measurement, including the use of qualitative and quantitative data to inform improvement.
- Excellent project management, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a complex network of partners.
- Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences through different formats, alongside strong written skills.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and influencing skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound judgement, problem-solving ability and the capacity to work effectively under pressure
- High level of digital literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and the confidence to work with digital platforms and systems.
- Clear understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion, and how this applies in practice.
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, accountability and attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to contribute to wider organisational priorities and travel as required.
- A satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
