We are looking for a Dynamics 365 CRM Developer to join our Dynamics 365 Dev Team

Title:  Dynamics 365 CRM Developer

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, subject to experience

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)

Location: Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London

The role of a Dynamics CRM Developer at Anthony Nolan encompasses a unique blend of responsibilities, combining technical support for users with the ability to address and resolve issues within our Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems and services. These systems are developed by both our in-house team and external partners. In addition to managing and updating our support ticket tracking system with the latest details on issues and their current status, this role also requires involvement in development tasks.

A successful Dynamics CRM Developer at Anthony Nolan will not only be adept at swiftly and effectively analysing issues reported through our support tracking system but will also be capable of breaking them down and collaborating with users to identify solutions. This role involves directly contributing to the development and enhancement of our Dynamics 365 systems to pre-emptively address issues and improve overall functionality.

You will develop working relationships with our users and our development teams and have an understanding of their working practices and processes to ensure that our systems are effectively supported. Our Dynamics 365 Dev Team supports users across Anthony Nolan including Donor & Transplantation Services, Patient Services, Laboratories, Cell Therapy & Laboratory Services, Fundraising, Marketing & Communications as well as more traditional functions such as HR, Payroll and Finance.

Reporting to the Dynamics 365 Tech Lead, you will work closely and collaborate with data analysts, application developers, strategic partners and our Product team to ensure our systems are supported in accordance with Anthony Nolan’s Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

These include but are not limited to:

  • Being the system administrator on our Dynamics 365 CRM platforms and perform end-user administration tasks and providing multi-layer support.

  • Working closely with users to capture and document requirements ensuring these are agreed and signed off.

  • Communicating all planned changes across all appropriate teams within the organisation.

  • Testing all work to ensure deliverables meet requirements, process and quality.

  • Arranging and support SAT/UAT of all changes with appropriate colleagues/business users.

  • Increasing the utilisation of the CRM through user engagement, develop CRM workflows to support business processes and respond to other member information requests.

  • Assisting with the efficient planning and delivery of new updates.

  • Writing detailed documentation for the operation of the program by users and computer operators.

  • Working closely with the Dynamics 365 Tech Lead to continuously improve our support, development and deployment processes to:

o Reduce manual intervention

o Find root causes and reduce workarounds

o Ensure that all changes are fully tested

o Minimise disruption to operations

  • Effectively communicate with customers to provide information and manage expectations.

  • Identify and manage the timely escalation of tickets that have been allocated to you, liaising with others in the wider business as appropriate.

  • Handle difficult situations and use your adaptability, resilience and resourcefulness to find solutions.

  • Applying knowledge of industry standards, trends and developments to improve our digital offering.

Essential Attributes?

  • You will have a proven track record in MS Dynamics 365 with a particular focus on development.

  • Strong expertise with C# and Visual Studio

  • Experience with CRM integration techniques and managing data migration processes.

  • Experience using Azure functions, logic apps or similar

  • Experience in working with the Power Platform and its capabilities.

  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication

  • Have knowledge of CD/CI pipelines specifically around Azure Dev Ops and GitHub platforms
