Title: Driver / Hours: 0/Relief-Bank hours per week (see below for more details) / Salary: £12.71 per hour / Location: Isla Road, Perth, PA2 7HQ

Upper Springland aims to enable people with a range of disabilities to lead their lives to the full by accessing specialist facilities and services whilst also using community facilities where appropriate. The service provides 24/7 support to the customer who live on site.
About the role
We are currently looking to recruit relief Driver to assist with the safe transportation of our customers. Duties include the safe clamping of wheelchairs and the safe use of our tail lifts in the transportation process. The role involves lone working.
Key Requirements:
- Experience of working in a similar role and environment as is a MIDAS qualification
- Willingness to undertake any personal development opportunities
- A full UK driving licence and be licensed to drive a minibus. Please note different licence provisions apply depending on when you obtained your driving licence
- Some knowledge of wheelchairs and the use of tail-lifts, clamping and health and safety is desirable but full training will be provided
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Hours: This rewarding role is to cover our existing drivers periods of leave, they work - weekends between 0900-1600 & weekdays between 0900-1700, therefore we would require applicants to have availability to work during these hours, predominantly covering weekends.
