Female* Domestic Abuse Support Worker

Salary: £26,000 – £27,300 per annum – The normal starting salary for this role is £26,000. A higher starting salary may be offered to candidates who have significant and demonstrable skills and experience required for this post.
Location: Test Valley
Hours: Staffed 9am-5.00pm Monday to Friday.  Staff will provide an on-call out of hours service, on a rota basis including weekends.
Contract: Permanent

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job

To provide support, advice and assistance to women and their children who have experienced domestic violence and abuse.

The post-holder will work to empower and support women and children to make positive choices.

The post-holder will work as part of the safe accommodation team.

To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours service on a rota basis.

It is essential that the post holder has a driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
