At HARV (Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Domestic Abuse Service), we are committed to identifying,
supporting and protecting adults and children affected by abuse, exploitation and violence.
We are expanding our team and are looking for passionate, skilled and committed individuals who
share our values and want to make a lasting difference in the lives of children, young people and
victim-survivors across Lancashire.

Domestic Abuse Children and Young People’s Practitioner

Salary: £25,000 – £28,163 per annum + 8% pension
This rewarding role involves providing specialist, trauma-informed support to children and young
people who have experienced or witnessed domestic abuse. You will work directly with children,
families and partner agencies to improve safety, support recovery, build resilience and promote
positive emotional wellbeing.

  • Understand the impact of domestic abuse, trauma and safeguarding
  • Are passionate about empowering individuals and improving outcomes
  • Can build strong professional relationships and work effectively with partner agencies

Additional information

All roles are based in Accrington, Lancashire, and require flexibility to work occasional evenings and
weekends to meet service needs.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for most roles.
Enhanced DBS checks will be required.
