This Christmas, at our sister venue the Barnfield Theatre in Exeter, we’re staging:

A playful, inventive reimagining of the beloved classic for 3 actors, this adaptation has heart, humour, and a fresh theatrical spirit – and we’re searching for a director who can match that energy. The show will be roughly 60 minutes long and is aimed at young children aged 3 – 8 and their families.

We’re looking for a director who is:
• Inventive and visually imaginative
• Excited by new writing and musical storytelling
• Passionate about creating accessible, high-quality theatre
• A confident collaborator, ready to build and inspire a creative team

We are keen to employ someone for this role who is based in or has a meaningful connection to the South West of England (such as through birth, family connections or education).

Support & Collaboration

You won’t be doing this alone.

The successful candidate will receive:

  • Full support in assembling a dynamic creative team
