Digital Engagement Analyst

Job Introduction

Role description

Our Data & Insights team at Diabetes UK empowers the organisation to make informed, impactful decisions that improve outcomes for people living with diabetes and ensure we generate sustainable income to fund it. As product owners of a new CRM system and data hub we are also guardians of our customer data (donors and people at risk of or living with diabetes).

At Diabetes UK, we’re looking for a Digital Engagement Analyst to help us better understand how people interact with our websites, apps and digital services, and use those insights to create more engaging, effective and accessible digital journeys.

Working within our Data & Insight team, you’ll play a key role in measuring and evaluating digital performance across our growing digital ecosystem. You’ll analyse user behaviour, identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion, and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence decision-making across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and commercially minded analyst who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder collaboration. You’ll help shape measurement frameworks, optimise tracking and analytics, ensure high-quality data collection, and provide the insight needed to deliver better digital experiences for people affected by diabetes.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll champion data-led decision making and help ensure our digital products and services deliver maximum impact.

If you’re experienced in digital analytics, confident using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and motivated by using data to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

Fundraising Roles only: Diabetes UK is committed to fundraise in a way that is legal, open, honest and respectful and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We are registered with the Fundraising Regulator and you will be expected to adhere to the Code of Fundraising Practice.

We have a friendly and inclusive working environment here at Diabetes UK and are proud of our hybrid approach which allows great flexibility in the way that we work. This means that you can balance your working time between home and the office, subject to the needs of your role.

Interview date:  9th and 10th September 2026 (via Teams)

About the Company

For nearly 5 million people with diabetes in the UK, there’s no day off. At Diabetes UK, we fight day in, day out for better care, treatment and support. We won’t stop until diabetes can do no harm.

With more people than ever living with diabetes and millions more at risk of developing type 2, our work has never been more needed. We make sure they get the care and support needed to live well with diabetes and avoid devastating complications.

We fund critical research, which has led to life-changing discoveries – like the first insulin pen and programmes to put type 2 diabetes into remission. Now, we want to do this for everyone and find a cure.

We can’t do any of this without you. Our staff are passionate and determined about helping everyone affected by diabetes. For over 85 years, they’ve been behind vital policy changes, as well as new treatments and technologies to make living with diabetes easier every day.

But there’s more to do. And you can be part of it. Our vision is a world where diabetes can do no harm. Join us today, and together, we can make that a reality.

Our commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

Diabetes does not affect everyone equally and as a charity we are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. We seek to better reflect those we serve. It also means if you have a disability or long-term condition, we're happy to consider any reasonable adjustments you might need to take part in the process and succeed in the role, just let our HR team know via recruitment@diabetes.org.uk
