Responsibilities of our Designer
The role is key to enabling the Brand and Marketing team to support our organisational goals: Enhancing cat welfare and increasing our impact, supporting volunteering to become an exemplary voluntary organisation, deepening our engagement with customers and supporters, and enabling vital income generation activity to support financial sustainability.
This role is responsible for delivering best in class creative design concepts in response to tactical briefs, supported by the Lead or Senior Designers, effectively and consistently using the Cats Protection brand, and producing finished visual assets across a wide range of digital and print marketing channels.
About the Brand & Marketing department:
This role is part of the Creative team within the Brand & Marketing department
Our team is responsible for delivering Cats Protection’s strategic goals through supporting vital income generation activity, delivery of consistent cat welfare messaging and driving brand awareness and engagement with key audiences
The Creative team is combined of 10 skilled designers and content writers creating compelling marketing communications for the charity
What we’re looking for in our Designer:
Mac-based design experience using leading creative software
Demonstrable experience in a design role either in house or in an agency, designing for print and digital
Competent in all aspects of design creation from concept to finished artwork across both print and digital
Ability to apply creativity whilst working within brand guidelines and practical considerations
Understand current visual communication technologies for both digital and print channels
