The School is seeking to appoint a pro-active and highly organised candidate to support the D&E department in managing and maintaining equipment and resources for the safe and effective delivery of both curricular and extra-curricular D&E.
This is an exciting time to join the department as it delivers a modernised curriculum in Design Technology and 3D Design.
Applicants should have experience in a technical or practical environment and be competent in the use and maintenance of machinery. Strong practical and IT skills are essential and experience of 2D/3D CAD and Computer Aided Manufacturing equipment would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, using initiative and remaining calm under pressure. The position demands high professional standards and the ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating a helpful attitude towards staff and pupils alike.
This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team committed to helping young people achieve their academic objectives. We offer a comprehensive induction and CPD programme with opportunities for further training to account for the broad range of specialist equipment and processes used within the department.
