This is a 3-bed home, currently supporting
one young person, giving you the opportunity to deliver trulyindividualised, relationship-led care.She is a creative and thoughtful teenager who is learning to trust the world around her. She enjoys jewellery making, arts and crafts, sewing, and baking, alongside experiences like theme parks, escape rooms, long walks at Ham Hill, and watching the sunset.
Some days she’s full of energy and conversation. Other days, she needs calm, quiet connection, sitting side-by-side watching a film with someone who understands.
She needs adults who can meet her where she is.

As Deputy Manager, you will play a
dual role— supporting the Registered Manager in running the home while also being an active, consistent presence in the young person’s life.Supporting the Young Person
- Build a trusted, meaningful relationship
- Support emotional wellbeing using trauma-informed approaches
- Create positive experiences and opportunities tailored to her interests
- Provide clear, consistent boundariesthat promote safety
- Ensure her voice is heard and reflected in daily routines and decisions
Leadership & Operational Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of the home
- Lead shifts and act as a role model to staff
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members
- Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
- Oversee safeguarding practices and risk management
- Support care planning, reviews, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure the home meets Ofsted standards and quality expectations
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
- Experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker
- QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Willingness to complete Level 5 in Leadership & Management
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the home
