About the team

This role sits within Early Years and Primary team. In the team, we deliver programmes to Early Career teachers and a suite of Leadership Programmes including Remarkable Women, Headship Next, Leading Together, Early Headteacher Coaching Offer and NPQs.

The team sits within Transformational Programmes. This directorate is responsible for designing and delivering Transformational Experiences that create lasting impact on teachers and leaders in disadvantaged schools.

About the role

The Delivery department delivers Teach First’s programmes across all areas of England. We support, teach and develop programme members, trainee teachers their mentors via the delivery of teacher development and leadership programmes. We want all those programme members on our programmes to successfully complete our programmes and go on to be engaged ambassadors of our vision.

As a Delivery Officer you will be part of a central delivery team who enables the efficient and optimisation of our delivery. You will work with your immediate team and across the department to support high quality experiences which engage our programme members in their development, their community and in our social purpose and mission to ensure all children are able to achieve their potential.

In this role you will:

• Manage and co-ordinate the team planning in line with team and programme milestones to ensure key deliverables are met.

Own the implementation of In-programme processes and programme member data. Ensure these are documented and optimised.

Work closely with other roles within delivery to build capability and understanding of key activities; particularly at peak delivery points where extra resource needs to be trained and coordinated. Champion expertise and complete adoption of key technology within the team and department. Support the Team to support the understand and use technology effectively.

• Accurate Programme Member data. Execute key processes which ensure the team has accurate knowledge of programme members, their engagement and performance.

• Executing on key programmatic processes which delivers key activities for your team and programmes.

Monitor and track key programme member progress and completion to ensure that programme members meet expected milestones; identify gaps and support leadership to resolve.

• Support leaders with the management data and insight they need to provide effective support to delivery colleagues.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience.

Experience building effective relationships working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and confidence working across levels of seniority, with a good knowledge of stakeholder management approaches and their application to benefit your team and work.

Ability to manage upwards and laterally, effectively managing expectations. Demonstrates high quality written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changes.

Ability to use Salesforce to answer questions on performance and progress to deliverables; with the ability to spot patterns and share insight with your wider team to support their understanding.

Confidence executing parts of a project, monitoring progress, identifying obstacles and corrective actions. Exceptional organisation, planning and administrative skills, including the ability to prioritise own and others’ workloads

Strong technical skills, including expertise in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce CRM as well as the aptitude to pick up new systems quickly, and confidence in supporting others to use processes and platforms correctly.

• Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously in a geographically dispersed team

• Experience in Salesforce Lightening and using it to maintain excellent data integrity and team performance monitoring and reporting.

• Experience using project management tools to support team deliverables and collaboration.
