Job Title: Data Collation Reporting Support Officer Job Location: Salisbury Accountable to: Senior Impact & Evaluation Reporting Officer, Philanthropy & Grants Grade: F Hours of Work: 15hrs pw Purpose of the role The Data Collation Reporting Support Officer will play a vital role in demonstrating the impact and effectiveness of VALOUR Recognised Centre (VRC) and its wider consortium to funders, supporters, and stakeholders. The postholder will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and presenting data and qualitative insights to showcase the outcomes of Alabaré’s work, providing high-quality evidence to support fundraising efforts and external reporting. Working across the Fundraising team but primarily supporting it, the role will ensure that Alabaré’s impact is communicated in a compelling, accurate, and inspiring way through reports, proposals, and other materials. Key Responsibilities Data Collection and Analysis • Develop and maintain systems to collect quantitative and qualitative data on the outcomes and impact of Alabaré’s programmes, leading on VALOUR • Work closely with Senior Impact Evaluation & Reporting Officer, Operation colleagues and project partners to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent data collection processes • Collect, compile, and organise data from multiple internal and external sources • Analyse data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and evaluate the effectiveness of Alabaré’s projects and initiatives • Deliver surveys, process and analyse survey information 1 Reporting • Produce high-quality reports tailored to the requirements of funders, supporters, and stakeholders • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for VALOUR as required • Support the development of funding applications by providing data, case studies, and evidence that highlight Alabaré’s impact • Ensure reports are visually engaging and effectively communicate complex information in an accessible format • Work with colleagues to develop and maintain monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness of Alabaré’s programmes and services • Take the lead on VALOUR reporting, driving the social value model implementation and understanding across Alabaré to support the key messaging within the fundraising and marketing teams, and support Operations in their decision-making of service delivery Case Studies and Storytelling • Collaborate with Operations colleagues and VALOUR Partners to gather compelling case studies and testimonials that illustrate the personal impact of Alabaré’s work – making it easy for colleagues to contribute information and ideas • Ensure stories and case studies are ethically collected, respecting the privacy and dignity of individuals involved Collaboration and Teamwork • Work closely with Philanthropy & Grants colleagues to identify data and insights needed for funding applications and donor stewardship • Collaborate with other Fundraising team members, including Individual Giving, Events, and Legacy colleagues, to share impact data and resources • Liaise with Operations teams to ensure alignment between programme outcomes and external reporting requirements. • Spending time in the VALOUR Recognised Centre (VRC) and visiting the consortium partners for data collection Compliance and Best Practice • Ensure all data collection and reporting activities comply with GDPR, fundraising and other relevant regulations • Stay informed about best practices in impact evaluation and reporting, incorporating new approaches where relevant 2 Other • To foster the Mission, Vision, Values and Christian ethos of Alabaré responsibly and positively on all occasions. • Work towards the outcomes outlined in the Charity’s Strategy for Growth and Resilience 2025-30. • We reserve the right to ask you from time to time to undertake any other reasonable duties as required within this role. • To be committed to safeguarding children and young people and vulnerable adults in line with Alabaré, Local Children’s Safeguarding Board and Adult Care guidelines. • To adhere to the list of general duties contained within the staff handbook.
