About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking Curriculum Leader to shape and deliver high-quality provision across a range of programmes within the School. This includes curriculum leadership across BTEC, T-Levels, Access to HE Diplomas, and higher education pathways such as Foundation and Degree-level qualifications.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of School, you will lead on the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of both accredited and non-accredited courses, ensuring a coherent, inclusive and responsive curriculum that meets the needs of learners and local communities.

Working collaboratively with teaching staff and colleagues across the College, you will support high standards of teaching, learning and assessment, contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes, and enhance the overall learner experience and outcomes.

This is a hands-on role, with a teaching commitment, where you will support learners to achieve and progress into further study or employment.

This is a full-time role; however, we welcome applications from candidates seeking fractional or job-share arrangements.

About you

You are a passionate and committed educator with strong subject expertise and a track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You bring experience of working within Further Education and or adult learning environments and have a clear understanding of how to support diverse learners to succeed.

You are confident in contributing to curriculum development and are able to design and adapt programmes to meet the needs of learners, employers, and the wider community. You have a strong understanding of quality assurance and are committed to delivering an excellent learner experience with positive outcomes.

You are a great communicator who works well collaboratively, with the ability to motivate and inspire both learners and colleagues. Highly organised and proactive, you are able to manage competing priorities, think strategically, and respond flexibly to change. You will bring relevant subject expertise, and we particularly welcome candidates with experience or interest in education, health, or social care-related provision, alongside those from other complementary subject areas.

Most importantly, you share our commitment to inclusion, lifelong learning, and social justice, and are motivated to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our learners.
