Criminal Justice Keyworker (Female) - Swindon and Wiltshire

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Criminal Justice Keyworker to join our Women's Community Services team in Swindon and Wiltshire. This rewarding role involves supporting women involved in the criminal justice system to overcome complex challenges, build resilience, and access the services they need to achieve sustainable positive outcomes.
Salary: £27,000 - £28,500 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week (flexibility required to work outside normal hours when needed)
Location: Swindon Women's Centre, covering Swindon and Wiltshire
What will you do?
- Provide one-to-one practical and emotional support to women involved in the criminal justice system
- Complete assessments, risk assessments and develop personalised, gender-responsive support plans
- Manage a caseload of women with complex needs, supporting them to achieve positive outcomes
- Work closely with criminal justice agencies, health services, housing providers and other partner organisations
- Advocate for women at multi-agency meetings and support them through family and criminal court processes where required
- Deliver outreach support across Swindon and Wiltshire and contribute to the continuous development of the service
What we are looking for
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Swindon and Wiltshire
- At least two years' experience supporting women with multiple and complex needs
- Experience carrying out needs and risk assessments and developing tailored support plans
- Strong understanding of issues affecting vulnerable women, including domestic abuse, mental health, substance misuse, housing and financial difficulties
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients and partner agencies, including those who may be reluctant to engage with services
- Excellent communication, organisation and case management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
