We’re looking for Criminal Justice Practitioner for our Kingston Service

The Criminal Justice Practitioner will be responsible for further developing the current Criminal Justice System (CJS) pathways and holistic support network. They will be responsible for supporting the service users on Criminal Justice pathway to manage the delivery of integrated psychosocial and pharmacological interventions for those who use our services with a focus on effective integration. This will include improving partnership working with probation, prisons, and Mental Health.

We are seeking committed, organised and highly motivated candidates, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues in Kingston.

The Criminal Justice Practitioner will be responsible for managing the Kingston Core Team. In addition to this, they will develop pathways with children’s services; local prisons, court and probation; community safety and housing; primary care.

You will have experience of line management of staff and good case management skills.

You will be part of a high-performance team that is focused on outcomes and welcomes innovation.

The Service

Via Kingston is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions, operating from a main treatment hub in Surbiton. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Kingston residents, irrespective of circumstance.
