The Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Corporate Commercial Manager to lead the development and growth of NEBOSH’s corporate offering.

This role will be responsible for building and managing direct relationships with employers, identifying commercial opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet organisational needs while maintaining NEBOSH’s high standards and reputation.

You will play a key role in shaping and executing our corporate sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and enhancing our position as the leading global provider of health and safety qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Business Development

  • Develop and execute a corporate sales strategy aligned to NEBOSH’s commercial objectives
  • Identify, target, and secure new corporate clients across priority sectors and regions
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities and manage them through to conversion
  • Set targets for yourself and the team and develop plans to ensure the targets are achieved
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure sustainable, high-quality delivery
Account Management & Growth
  • Manage a portfolio of key corporate accounts
  • Build long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, repeat business, and cross-selling
  • Monitor performance against targets and drive continuous improvement
Product & Solution Development
  • Work with internal teams to shape corporate-focused propositions and delivery models
  • Support the development of flexible, scalable solutions tailored to employer needs
  • Ensure all solutions align with NEBOSH quality standards and brand positioning
Market Insight & Strategy
  • Gather and apply market intelligence to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
  • Contribute to wider commercial planning and reporting
Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with International BD, Learning & Assessment, Marketing, and Operations
  • Support proposals, bids, and presentations for corporate clients
  • Ensure effective internal handover and delivery of corporate agreements
Working Arrangements

This is a remote role with regular travel required, including:

  • Monthly meetings in Leicester
  • UK and occasional international travel for client engagement

The role requires a high degree of autonomy, alongside strong collaboration with internal teams.

About You

You will be a commercially focused professional with a proven track record of developing and managing high-value accounts.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Significant experience in business development, corporate sales, or account management
  • Proven ability to win and grow large or complex client accounts
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Experience developing and delivering sales strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including at senior level
  • Ability to translate client needs into scalable solutions
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
Desirable
  • Experience in education, qualifications, or professional services
  • Experience working in international markets
  • Knowledge of health and safety or related sectors
  • Experience managing partnerships or multi-stakeholder delivery models
Salary

£50,000 per annum.
