Support the Development of Contract Management Across Aster Group
Do you enjoy bringing clarity, structure and analysis to help colleagues make better commercial decisions?
We’re looking for a driven and curious Contract Management Analyst to support the development of our Group‑wide approach to contract management. This role is central to strengthening how we capture, interpret and use contract information to monitor performance, value, risk and supplier delivery.
You’ll join our Procurement function at an exciting time, contributing to the introduction of a consistent Contract Management Framework and helping shape how we use contract information to support strong supplier relationships and effective oversight across the Group.
Why this role matters
This role plays a key part in building reliable insight into the performance of our contract portfolio. As Contract Management Analyst, you will:
- Maintain the contract management systems and ensure information is accurate, complete and accessible.
- Produce regular contract portfolio reporting that highlights performance, compliance, risks and opportunities.
- Analyse contract performance and supplier delivery to identify trends, variances and areas needing attention.
- Support colleagues across the business to prepare for contract review meetings and performance discussions.
- Provide insight into market conditions and supplier health, helping Aster to act as an informed client.
- Support benefits tracking and reporting to demonstrate the impact of effective contract management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes, reporting and tools.
Your work will provide the evidence base that enables better decisions, clearer prioritisation and stronger performance across our supply chain.
This is a hybrid role with the need to travel into the region on a monthly basis.
Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
About you
You’re analytical, organised and naturally curious, someone who enjoys understanding how things work and turning information into insight. You bring:
- Experience in a contract management, procurement, commercial or analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Experience working with contract, procurement or finance systems and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, MS Dynamics).
- An understanding of contract structures, performance measures and commercial terms.
- Strong communication skills, able to present complex information clearly to different audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage information across multiple systems and sources.
- The ability to balance multiple tasks and determine the right level of analysis for the situation.
- A relevant qualification or progress toward one (e.g. CIPS) is helpful but not essential.
You’ll work closely with the Contract Management Lead, contributing to an emerging area of expertise and helping embed consistent practices across the organisation.
About the Procurement Team
You’ll be part of a Procurement function that is building capability and investing in consistent, scalable approaches to contract management. This role offers the opportunity to shape how contract information is captured, analysed and used, influencing both operational performance and long‑term value.
