Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose.

We're looking for a Communicator Guide to join our team across South Wales on a permanent basis. Working 12 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm (exact shifts to be discussed at interview), you'll be supporting adult clients with sensory loss to maintain their independence and stay connected to the things that matter most to them.

This is a varied and meaningful role and no two days look the same. Mileage is paid when travelling with clients, and there's potential for hours to increase over time. While BSL is not essential, it would be a real advantage in this role.

A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle with business insurance is essential.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A warm, friendly and confident communicator
  • Passionate about making a difference to people's lives
  • Adaptable and comfortable working across different settings
  • A driver with their own vehicle and business insurance

This role might include supporting people with:

  • Attending appointments and social groups
  • Shopping and day-to-day errands
  • Telephone calls and correspondence
  • Emotional support and companionship
