About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our expanding team. This role leads on community engagement and outreach for our Energy Advice service, helping ensure residents across North East Derbyshire and Bolsover can access support to manage rising energy costs.

As a visible and proactive representative of the organisation, you will coordinate outreach activity, attend community events and build relationships with local groups and partners to raise awareness of both Energy Advice and the wider services offered by Citizens Advice. You will also provide light-touch energy advice and support, helping individuals access appropriate services and information. This is a varied role requiring confidence working with people, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.

Travel across North East Derbyshire and Bolsover will be required, including occasional evening or weekend events.

Citizens Advice North East Derbyshire is committed to diversity and inclusion, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We encourage and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. Applicants who identify as disabled and who satisfy the shortlisting criteria will automatically be offered an interview.
