About the role
Citizens Advice Eastbourne is looking for a creative and proactive Communications Assistant to help us tell the stories that matter to our community.
This isn't a desk-bound content-scheduling role. We want someone who takes the initiative — chatting to our advisers about the cases they're working on, keeping an eye on what's happening in Eastbourne, and turning those real, local insights into compelling social media posts, blogs, infographics, short videos and more.
You'll be the voice of Citizens Advice Eastbourne across our digital channels, helping us build a presence that reflects the vital work we do every day. You'll work from our Eastbourne office, alongside a supportive team, with mentoring and strategic guidance provided — but we're looking for someone who's self-motivated, curious, and ready to run with ideas.
What We Can Offer You:
We embrace individuals from all walks of life, encouraging everyone to bring their authentic selves to work every day.
We understand the importance of balance and provide flexible working hours to accommodate your needs outside the workplace.
We prioritise the health and wellbeing of our employees, recognising that wellness contributes to professional success.
We offer a generous annual leave entitlement, an employer Contributory Pension Scheme, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
We welcome applicants from all diverse backgrounds, we are committed to building a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
