Communications and Marketing Lead
Reports To: Head of Communications, Fundraising and Marketing
Direct Reports: Up to 8 (none currently)
Location: Southampton Head Office / Hybrid
Hours: 30-37 hours per week
Salary Range: £29,560 to £33,448 per annum (pro rated for part-time) –
Purpose:
Ensure effective day-to-day operations working closely with the Head of in the delivery of content, communications, and marketing activities. Manage the creation of content and marketing materials including but not limited to website, video, digital, events, social media and print. Working in a team to enable Solent Mind to be an active voice and thought leader for mental health in Hampshire, while strengthening engagement with our audiences.
Principal Accountabilities:
Manage the day-to-day operational requirements of our websites, social media, email marketing and graphic design for the whole of Solent Mind.
Create the monthly content plan for social media, email marketing and website blogs in line with the annual external communications, PR and marketing plan and campaigns.
Create and deliver campaigns/content, including written copy, video, events, marketing materials and merchandise, resources, and toolkits, ensuring it is tailored to the right audience.
Manage the shared inbox and track from request to completion incoming requests for external communications, PR and marketing activities.
Create and edit video content using video editing software.
Source and develop images, copy, case studies and stories.
Ensure all communications and marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and values.
Create analytics reports for PI and KPIs on website, social media and email marketing.
Work with external freelancers, agencies and suppliers as needed to the agreed plan and budget, managing spend.
Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and be an active part of a team working together towards shared goals.
