Co-Director (Scottish BPOC Writers Network)

Apply by Sunday 31 May at 23:55 for this part-time, fixed-term position based anywhere in Scotland.

The Scottish BPOC Writers Network is looking for an enthusiastic, creative Co-Director to join their team!

Since their founding in 2018, SBWN has been dedicated to providing platforms and spaces where Scotland’s writers of colour can develop creatively, find community, and make their voices heard on their own terms. Now, eight years later, they are currently delivering year two of their three-year multi-year programme funded by Creative Scotland, which runs until March 2028.

The literary landscape is evolving and so are they.

They’re looking for a new Co-Director to join their current Co-Directors and help to steer their programming and operations in exciting, innovative ways that engage their existing community and expand their positive impact on Scotland’s literary sector.

This is an arts programming and administrative role which includes co-curation, literary events management, creative thinking, community development, editorial work, partnership relationships, project management and reporting.

Contract Duration: July 2026 to March 2028, earliest start date 6 July.

Fee: £1,400 per month (£28 per hour x 50 hours per month, paid monthly on receipt of invoice)

Location: All Scotland
