Description
Grayshott Village Hall is one of the largest Village Halls in Hampshire with 4 halls and 1 meeting room. The Hall has many regular users ranging from Pilates Classes to Amateur Dramatic Society productions and Concerts
The Hall has a full time resident caretaker as well as a Bookings Officer and is now seeking to recruit a Clerk to assist the Trustees with various aspects of day-to-day administration and smooth running of the Village Hall and Grounds. It is anticipated that the role will require approximately 8 hours per week.
The role will require the individual to act with integrity, honesty and fairness to safeguard the assets, finances and reputation of the village Hall and to be a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude. The successful candidate will be employed on a part time basis by the Village Hall and will receive a monthly salary.
If you have experience in the following areas, we would like to hear from you:
• Preparing agendas and minutes of meetings
• Writing and presenting reports
• Compliance with regulations and policies
• Liasing with suppliers
• Implementing safety standards
• Use of IT systems
The salary will be £8,000 for an average of 8 hours per week.
