Epic Partners

Lead. Deliver. Grow. Make a Difference.

Epic Partners, Empowering Positive & Inspirational Change to young people who need it most.
Epic Partners is entering a new chapter in its journey. We are a purpose-driven charity supporting hundreds of children and young people through sport, education, and community programmes. Following the loss of our previous COO, we are now seeking an exceptional individual to continue his legacy and help take the organisation forward with care, vision, and commitment.

This is not a traditional operations role. It is an opportunity to shape and build an organisation that is changing lives every day.

Who We Are

At Epic Partners, we aim to make a positive impact in our community. Our mission is to connect people and support important projects. Our dedicated coaches and mentors guide and inspire individuals to grow. Join us as we work together to create a brighter future for everyone.

We are a community-focused charity delivering high-quality sport, education, and youth development programmes. Our team brings together a diverse range of skills, united by a shared purpose: to improve outcomes and opportunities for children, young people, and communities.

About the Role

As COO, you will work directly alongside the CEO to lead the organisation’s operations, performance, and growth. You will take ownership of day-to-day delivery while ensuring long-term sustainability — keeping our programmes high-quality, impactful, and financially secure.
You will:
• Lead and develop a committed and passionate staff team
• Oversee delivery across multiple programmes and sites
• Drive income generation through contracts, partnerships, and funding
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, schools, and local authorities
• Create systems and structures that support growth and long-term success
• Act as a key representative of Epic Partners externally
• Deputise for the CEO when required

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is as comfortable in strategy meetings as they are solving real operational challenges on the ground.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who brings energy, leadership, and a strong sense of purpose. You might already be operating at a senior level, or ready to step up into your first executive role.

You will likely have:
• Proven experience in operations, service delivery, or programme management
• Experience managing teams and driving performance
• A track record in income generation, funding, or contract delivery
• Experience of sports coaching, alternate provision or youth work
• Strong relationship-building skills across sectors
• The ability to think strategically and deliver operationally
• A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who gets things done with care, empathy, and vision.

Why Join Epic Partners?
• Be part of a growing organisation with real ambition
• Help continue the legacy of a valued leader while shaping the future
• Work directly with a driven and passionate CEO
• Make a tangible difference to the lives of young people and communities
• Lead meaningful programmes, not just processes

Additional Information
• Full-time role with flexibility required (including occasional evenings/weekends)
• Travel across delivery sites required (full driving licence and access to a vehicle essential)
• Enhanced DBS check required

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our charity. We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.

Ready to make a difference? Join us and help transform the lives of children and young people.
