Queens’ College is seeking a Chef de Partie to join their experienced and well-established kitchen team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in preparing high-quality food and delivering excellent service.
  • Has a genuine passion for food and enjoys working with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Has experience working in a busy professional kitchen, ideally within a hotel, college or similar environment.
  • Works well under pressure and remains calm during busy service.
  • Is organised, reliable and able to manage their time effectively.
  • Enjoys working as part of a friendly, supportive team.
  • Understands the importance of food safety, allergens and maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: £31,843.50 per annum
  • Type of contract: 37.5 hours per week, permanent
  • Defined Benefit Pension Scheme: The Cambridge Colleges Federated Pensions Scheme (CCFPS)
  • Holiday entitlement: 26 days’ annual leave plus public holidays (34 days in total)
