Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity is looking for a Celebrity & Influencer Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our talent programme turning brilliant relationships into real impact for patients, families and fundraising.
Working closely with the Senior Celebrity & Influencer Manager, you’ll play a key role in evolving our approach to a more proactive and strategic programme. You’ll work directly with celebrities, agents, publicists and creators to deliver high-quality moments that support brand, income and patient experience.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be at the centre of activity including planning, coordinating and delivering talent engagements across both the Charity and the Hospital in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Salary
The salary for this role is £48,669 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the celebrity and influencer programme, including triaging requests and ensuring activity is prioritised effectively.
- Build and manage relationships with celebrities, agents, publicists, managers and creators, delivering excellent supporter care and professional follow-through.
- Lead the influencer and creator area building a strong pipeline and working closely with Social team to deliver impactful content.
- Plan and deliver celebrity engagements end-to-end, including hospital visits, events, filming and content moments.
- Work closely with Fundraising, Special Events and Communications teams to support income and cultivation activity.
- Lead on planning and delivery of hospital-based celebrity activity, ensuring a positive experience for patients and staff and adherence to safeguarding and governance protocols.
- Develop strong briefing materials, run-of-show plans and follow-up processes to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and track activity, outcomes and pipeline performance.
- Line manage and develop the Celebrity & Influencer Officer, maintaining high standards and supporting development.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong experience delivering high-profile partnerships, talent programmes or events in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working directly with celebrities, agents, publicists or creators.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at pace.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence to challenge and influence where needed.
- High-quality written communication skills, including producing clear briefings and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within governance and safeguarding requirements.
- Experience of influencer or creator activity (desirable).
- Experience working in sensitive environments such as healthcare or charity (desirable).
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems (desirable)
