Permanent - Part Time
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND Department at our beautiful and inspirational Prior Park School, Gibraltar.
This role will promote good relationships with colleagues, pupil and parents throughout the school, fostering a feeling of 'belonging'. To support and complement the work of teachers for the benefit of pupils and their learning, contributing to a range of teaching and learning activities, working collaboratively as part of a professional team. Promoting positive values, attitudes and behaviours.
Will be working term time, 21 hours 25 minutes per week over four days between 8.30am and 5pm, depending on the needs of the school timetable with a willingness to engage with strategies to support SEND students and who can demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality, empathy and flexibility.
We welcome applications from suitably qualified individuals, especially those with EAL or dyslexia related training or experience. As a member of our community, you will have an opportunity to be involved and to contribute to the wider life of this successful day school.
We offer excellent working conditions with an attractive rewards package to include a free lunch, paying £13.85per hour.
The role will start ideally in September, once pre-employment checks have been completed.
Set in a stunning location, high up on the Rock and overlooking the Bay of Gibraltar, Prior Park School is a vibrant, caring community with an ambition as boundless as its view, established in 2016 to serve the families of Gibraltar and Southern Spain. Prior Park School is Gibraltar’s first and only independent, coeducational, Catholic/Christian day school, educating 260 young people aged 11-18 teaching the UK curriculum including over 20 subjects at GCSE and A Level examinations with a staff to student ratio of 1:8 with only 40 children in a year group.
