Join our brilliant bank of Care & Support staff at Lady Dane Farmhouse, Faversham to pick up night shifts.

You will be expected to accept a reasonable number of shifts to retain familiarity with operational procedures and service users’ needs. Strode Park Foundation (SPF) considers an average of 3 shifts per month to be reasonable. Our hourly rate of pay is £12.87

Job Opportunity

SPF consists of Strode Park House and Lifestyles Community Services (Herne), Lady Dane Farmhouse (Faversham), Redwalls and Footprints (Canterbury) and Platters Farm Lodge (Rainham).

This role is based at Lady Dane Farmhouse which is a beautiful 15-bedded home set in the Kent countryside on the outskirts of the historic town of Faversham. As a Bank Care & Support Worker you will look after the day-to-day needs of our service users, whilst showing compassion, care and a commitment to having a positive impact on their lives. You will work with a team of like-minded individuals, all with a desire to ensure that they are comfortable in their home.

As this is a bank position, you will support the aims and objectives of the Foundation and play a full and active part in the community so that at all times this post, either directly or indirectly, is providing the highest standard of care to people who use our services.

Essential Skills

  • Have a strong interest in working in adult care services and a desire to make a difference.
  • Be honest, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Be flexible to cover shifts when required.
  • Be able to commit to the reasonable amount of shifts expected (as mentioned above).
  • Able to clearly communicate with the service users.
  • Be enthusiastic, caring, friendly and compassionate.
