Full time hours are 35 per week, and the rate of pay is currently £13.39 per hour.
Job Opportunity
As Lead Care and Support Worker, you will assist the management team in the supervision of staff, by providing regular one-to-one supervisions and annual appraisals. You will also:
- Ensure that the highest standard of essential and routine care is delivered at all times
- Be responsible for completing assessments of the residents within the service, write and regularly review person-centred care plans and risk assessments
- Co-operate with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other health professionals
- Maintain standards in the safe custody of medication, including auditing, stock management and administration
- Maintain and complete clear and comprehensive records

Essential Skills
Our ideal Lead Care and Support Worker will:
- Have direct or indirect experience of disability or supporting those with disabilities
- Be able to communicate clearly with our residents, adapting to their individual requirements
- Possess good computer skills
- Ideally hold Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent, and be willing to work towards Level 4.
- Have the ability to work as part of a team and with other colleagues of Strode Park Foundation in a collaborative and engaging way
Although not essential, it would be an advantage if you have:
- Experience of working in a supervisory role
- Previous experience of working in care

Platters Farm Lodge (PFL) is offering a rewarding opportunity to join the dedicated team in Rainham, Kent as a full time, permanent Deputy Manager on a salary of £29,465.80 per annum.

As Deputy Manager of Platters Farm Lodge, you will assist the Registered Manager to oversee our home, so it provides the best possible day to day lived experience for residents. You will help to ensure the safe, high-quality support services we provide, and that the home operates smoothly in terms of care quality, contractual, financial obligations, whilst continuing to maintain positive reputation.

Purpose of the role:
- To support the Registered Manager in managing the home and be directly involved with service development projects, occupancy increases and to generate service development ideas.
- To participate in recruitment processes (i.e. shortlisting and interviewing).
- To ensure SPF's safeguarding policy and procedures are stringently adhered to.
- To support the manager with the management of localised budgets and controlling costs.
- To provide supervision to the Lead Care & Support Workers.
Essential Skills
Our ideal Deputy Manager will:
- Hold a Level 3 or 4 qualification in Health and Social Care and be willing to work towards a Level 5 qualification within 18 months of being in post.
- Have excellent knowledge of CQC standards and legislation.
- Have experience of leading a team or managing a service.
- Be flexible with working hours as some evening and weekend work may be required.
- Have an understanding of MCA, DoLS and safeguarding processes.
- Have experience of budget management.
It would be an advantage if you have:
- Direct or indirect experience of disabilities or supporting those with disabilities.
- A full clean driving licence.
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager.

Registered Nurse (maternity cover) - Strode Park House
About the Role

You will be able to offer a person-centred approach to independence, wellbeing and choice whilst every hour of your working day will be stretching and fulfilling. You will ensure that the home's residents' individual and collective nursing and holistic needs are always addressed with consistent high quality.
This is a full time, maternity cover role for 9 months and is for 39.75 hours per week, £36,477 per annum, pro rata.
Job Opportunity
As Registered Nurse you will:
- Assess, plan, implement and review care and support to residents.
- Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures.
- Be responsible for the safe custody of medication, including checking and administration.
- Plan and evaluate residents' individual care plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Strode Park House is a 19th Century Victorian Manor House set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds in the picturesque village of Herne, Kent.

Essential Skills
The Registered Nurse will adopt a 'hands-on' approach, working with and taking responsibility for the nursing and care and support teams, applying the highest standards of modern and professional practice.
Our ideal Registered Nurse:
- Must be a RGN/RMN/RNLD qualified nurse
- Will have a valid NMC pin
- Will have experience of medication management
- Has an understanding of MCA, DOLS as well as safeguarding processes
