Campaigns Officer
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. For more than 40 years, we have been delivering essential health and medical care to those most affected by conflict, displacement and occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon.
We are now responding to the largest emergency in our history. Over the last two year, tens of thousands of new supporters have joined MAP. We work to raise Palestinian voices and work to secure their rights to health and dignity.
At the forefront of this effort is MAP’s Advocacy and Campaigns Team – advocating to end all violations of Palestinians rights to health and dignity, providing our supporters with the information and resources they need , and ensuring that the voices of our colleagues and the Palestinian communities we serve are heard worldwide in political and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities
MAP is seeking an experienced Campaign Officer to provide essential operational and coordination support to deliver MAP's campaigns effectively. Working under the direction of the Campaigns Manager, the postholder will support the planning and delivery of campaigns across multiple channels, help coordinate coalition and partner relationships, produce supporter-facing content and communications, and contribute to monitoring and reporting.
- Support the Campaigns Manager in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of MAP's priority campaigns for 2026/27, including maintaining workplans, tracking deliverables, and managing timelines.
- Support the planning and logistics of campaign events, stunts, and public-facing activities, including managing practical arrangements.
- Assist in managing relationships with external suppliers, agencies, and partners involved in campaign delivery, including coordinating briefs and reviewing outputs.
- Maintain campaign documentation and internal records, ensuring the team has clear and up-to-date information on campaign activity.
- Help prepare materials for coalition meetings, take notes, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for joint campaigning and collaborative action across the sector.
- Support the campaign manager with the development and distribution of campaign toolkits, action guides, and supporter resources, ensuring materials are accessible, accurate, and on brand.
- Help coordinate MAP's network of campaigners and supporters, responding to enquiries, sharing updates, and supporting onboarding of new campaigners.
- Draft supporter-facing campaign content including emails, social media posts, action alerts, and web copy, working in close coordination with the Communications and Fundraising team.
- Support the production of campaign assets including toolkits, infographics, and short-form content, coordinating with the design team and external suppliers as needed.
- Track campaign metrics and supporter engagement data, compiling regular updates for the Campaigns Manager.
- Support the preparation of campaign reports and evaluation documents for internal and external audiences
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You’ll bring proven experience working in a campaigns, communications, or advocacy environment, ideally within the humanitarian, human rights, or international development sector, and a a strong understanding of campaign delivery, including digital campaigns, public mobilisation, and supporter engagement and how these elements work together. You should have strong written communication skills, ability and skills to produce clear, compelling copy for different audiences and channels. Critically, you will bring a commitment to promoting Palestinian rights to health and dignity and to MAP values.
