Help shape the future of digital learning in social care.
Are you passionate about helping people develop their confidence with technology? Do you enjoy delivering engaging training that makes a real difference to how people work every day? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
At Avenues, we're committed to delivering high-quality support to the people we serve, and our business systems play a vital role in helping us achieve this.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Systems Trainer to join our Learning & Development Team and help colleagues across the organisation get the very best from our digital systems.
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll deliver engaging training and ongoing support for key business systems, including Access People Planner (APP), Access Care Planning (ACP) and Access Care Compliance (ACC).
Working with colleagues at all levels, you'll build confidence, improve system adoption and ensure our teams can use these systems effectively, accurately and in line with operational and compliance requirements.
You'll deliver a mixture of face-to-face and virtual training, provide one-to-one coaching, troubleshoot system queries and create practical learning resources that support colleagues long after their training has finished.
We're looking for someone with experience delivering training to a wide range of audiences, whether in groups or one-to-one.
You'll be a confident communicator who can explain complex systems in a simple and engaging way, adapting your approach to suit different learning styles and levels of experience.
You'll enjoy building relationships with managers, operational teams and technical colleagues, understanding their needs and providing practical support that improves confidence and compliance.
Experience within health and social care is highly desirable, particularly if you've worked with Access People Planner (APP) and Access Care Planning (ACP). You'll also be confident using Microsoft 365 applications to create high-quality learning materials and presentations. If you have experience producing digital learning resources, video content or supporting system implementations, we'd love to hear about it.
As this role involves regular travel across our services and offices, you'll need a full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and the flexibility to undertake occasional overnight stays when required.
What we offer
In return, you'll join a supportive team where your contribution is valued and your development is encouraged. We offer:
- Hybrid working to support a healthy work-life balance.
- Generous paid annual leave.
- Learning and development opportunities to help you grow your career.
- Access to wellbeing support and employee initiatives.
- A collaborative and inclusive working environment where continuous improvement is encouraged.
Why join Avenues?
At Avenues, you'll be part of an organisation that's committed to improving lives through innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.
We invest in our people, encourage professional development and give you the opportunity to make a genuine difference.
If you're looking for a role where you can share your expertise, support others to succeed and help shape the future of our systems and ways of working, we'd love to hear from you.
As part of our commitment to the “Disability Confident Scheme”, candidates who declare a disability, and meet the key criteria for this role, will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities at interview stage.
We reserve the right to close a vacancy before the closing date in the event of an overwhelming response or a change in business priorities.
