Business Support Manager

We have a rare opportunity to lead our Administration Service at Lancaster Royal Grammar School as Business Support Manager. We seek an excellent candidate with experience of leading others who will have a significant role to play in strategic planning and operational management.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the administrative functions of the school and will be the school's Health and Safety Officer.

We are looking for someone who will promote innovation and improvement in all areas of our support services. The successful candidate will ideally;

  • have experience in senior administrative roles

  • Be an excellent role model with the ability to inspire and motivate staff

  • Be forward-thinking and energetic with the ability to drive change sensitively

  • Have experience of working as part of a senior leadership team

  • Have experience of leading, coaching and mentoring to develop others

This is a full time (37 hours per week) role working term time plus 3 additional weeks.

The salary for this role will be paid on the Support Staff pay scale, Grade 10, currently £46,142 - £51,357 per annum (pay award pending) pro rata to take into account the term-time working arrangements.
