Business Analyst / Service Designer
This role will transform how we use data and insight across the diocese. It sits at the heart of how we understand our parishes and how we support them more effectively.
The Business Analyst / Service Designer will bring together data, systems and processes so that information is accurate, accessible and genuinely useful. You will help shift the organisation from managing information to using it well, enabling clearer insight, better decision-making and more responsive support.
You will work across teams to connect data from different systems, simplify processes and design practical solutions that improve how we operate day to day. Alongside this, you will identify opportunities to make better use of emerging tools and technologies, helping to build a more joined-up and efficient way of working.
This role combines delivery with strategic influence. You will use insight to inform how services are designed, advise on priorities, and contribute to the development of a more consistent, insight-driven approach across the organisation. The impact will be felt by staff, leaders and church communities, with fewer duplication, clearer communication and support that reflects real needs.
This is an emerging role with real scope to shape how the work develops. If you enjoy making things simpler, clearer and more effective for others, we would love to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role, including two days per week on average based at Church House, Derby.
