Box Office Supervisor
We are looking for a Box Office Supervisor to join the Box Office team on a full time permanent contract (BECTU).
The Supervisors play a key role in maintaining the core functions of the department: systems, inventory management, sales and customer service. Working closely with the management team, they ensure a first-class experience for customers in respect of ticket sales, membership and other services offered by the Box Office. They are a first line of support for the Sales Assistants, as well as providing ticketing setup services for the Box Office and other departments at the National Theatre.
This role also supports effective control of ticket inventory and customer service for all performances, being an important point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
They help provide a consistent Box Office management presence across the six-day week and in the absence of the other members of the management team.
The successful candidates will have the following:
- Excellent experience and wide knowledge of the use of Contact Centre and Customer
- Relationship Management systems (Experience in the Tessitura CRM System is desirable, however training will be provided)
- Motivated by being part of a team ensuring the high performance of the Box Office, identifying and achieving sales targets and promoting service and system improvements
- Confident and experienced in supporting and coaching team members to contribute to a successful operation and adapt to new initiatives
- A proven problem-solver with effective communication and customer service skills
