The vacancy

Are you a highly organised professional with a flair for governance, executive support, and making complex organisations run smoothly?

We are looking for an outstanding Board Secretary and PA to the Chair to join our team in a pivotal role at the centre of our organisation. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Board and Chair, supporting strong leadership, effective decision-making, and the highest standards of corporate governance. 

About the role 

In this role, you will be at the heart of Board and committee activity, ensuring meetings are expertly planned, papers are coordinated to a high standard, and governance processes run efficiently and effectively.

You will also:

  • provide dedicated executive support to the Chair

  • managing a complex diary

  • coordinating key engagements,

  • ensure the Chair is fully briefed and well prepared across a demanding and varied agenda

About you 

You will be exceptionally organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will also:

  • bring strong experience of coordinating senior-level meetings, preparing agendas and papers, and producing accurate minutes.

  • understand the importance of good governance, excellent record-keeping, and handling sensitive information with discretion.

  • be confident building positive working relationships with senior stakeholders and providing calm, proactive support in a high-profile role.

  • bring sound judgement, strong personal credibility, and a commitment to supporting effective governance at the highest level.
