Bedroom Sales Executive

(20 hours/5 days per week)

The Role

The Conference & Events Team invites applicants for a part time role of Bedroom Sales Executive. The successful applicant will sell the newly refurbished bedroom portfolio of Gonville & Caius College specifically during the summer months and to ensure 70% occupancy rates during the Easter and Christmas Vacation Periods. 

The bedroom areas include

  • West Road – Stephen Hawking Building, Harvey Court, K Block, Springfield,
  • Old Courts
  • Aston Webb, Murray Easton, Rose Crescent

The role will primarily support the Conference & Events Team. This department is responsible for generating between £520,000 and £720,000 in bedroom sales outside of term time, including summer schools and leisure business.

The team works collaboratively with a range of internal departments to ensure all events are delivered to a high standard, providing a positive and professionally managed experience for clients and guests.

This is a permanent part-time role, working 20 hours per week; Monday – Friday (9.00am – 1.00pm)

The salary for this position is £18,880 per annum (£35,401 FTE).

The College

Gonville & Caius College is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Cambridge.
