We are looking to recruit Bank Workers, to join our Sports Centre Team, with a sense of social purpose to help improve the lives of others and make a lasting difference in the lives of children and adults, throughout the County of Gloucestershire.

Salary is £12.93 per hour

We are inviting applications for Sports Centre Bank Workers to join us, to work at our Sports Centre, based at Arle Road in Cheltenham.

If you are comfortable working in a team, able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision and have a good telephone manner and effective interpersonal skills, you could be just the person we are seeking, and we would love to hear from you.

You will have previous experience of working in a similar environment or role, and have a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant sports/coaching field.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the Bank Worker, based at the YMCA Cheltenham Sports Centre, will provide a friendly welcome to members and non-members using, visiting and enquiring about our Sports Centre services. The Bank Worker will efficiently, operate the reception area, whilst having responsibility for overseeing and maintaining the smooth running of the operation within the Sports Centre during their shift. Where directed they will support with Sports Centre activities.
